These terms apply to Cluby campaigns that include campaign compensation. The restaurant accepts these terms when it activates a campaign in Partner Hub. Cluby’s general terms of use also apply.

1. Activating a campaign

  1. The restaurant activates and manages the campaign in the Campaigns section of Partner Hub.
  2. Once the campaign is activated, its benefit appears on the restaurant’s page in the Cluby app.
  3. Cluby provides the campaign’s marketing materials, and the restaurant displays them at the restaurant.
  4. Each campaign has a predefined campaign period.

2. Campaign compensation

  1. Campaign compensation is a fee that Cluby pays the restaurant for the visibility of a Cluby partner’s products at the restaurant and on the restaurant’s page in the Cluby app.
  2. No compensation is paid for the visibility or marketing of Cluby’s own service, and marketing Cluby at the restaurant does not entitle the restaurant to any other compensation.
  3. Campaign compensation is not a discount or a purchase rebate, and it is not linked to the restaurant’s product purchases.
  4. Every campaign is backed by a Cluby partner, such as a brewery, whose product is marketed in the campaign.
  5. Each campaign has its own compensation rate, which Cluby sets before the campaign starts. The rate may vary from campaign to campaign. The compensation rate is subject to 0% VAT.

3. Uses eligible for compensation

Campaign compensation is paid for uses of the benefit in which a customer activates the benefit on their phone from the restaurant’s page in the Cluby app, and the use takes place:

  • during the campaign period;
  • during the restaurant’s opening hours;
  • at the restaurant’s location;
  • by a genuine customer; and
  • in line with the purpose of the campaign.

Uses that do not meet these conditions, or that Cluby considers misuse (section 5), are excluded from compensation.

4. Usage limits do not determine compensation

The restaurant decides how often a customer can use the benefit, for example once, once a day, once a week, once a month or without limit. The usage limit applies only to the customer’s use of the benefit. It does not determine how many uses the restaurant receives campaign compensation for.

5. Monitoring and misuse

  1. Cluby monitors the use of campaign benefits automatically and processes the resulting data, such as the time and location of activations and the number of uses per user. Signs of misuse may include repeated activations by the same person within a short time or unusually often, and other use that does not correspond to a genuine customer visit.
  2. Cluby assesses at its discretion whether a use meets these terms. Cluby may exclude from compensation any uses that do not meet the terms or that it considers misuse.
  3. If Cluby suspects misuse, it has the right to accept no more than one use of the benefit per person per day for compensation.
  4. Cluby reports only approved uses of the benefit to the restaurant.
  5. Cluby may report to the partner the number, time and city of activations, as well as the gender and age of users.

6. Payouts

Approved campaign compensation is paid once a month to the payout account that the restaurant creates in the Payouts section of Partner Hub. If no account has been created, no compensation is paid. Compensation accrued before the account is created is not paid retroactively.

7. End of campaign

No compensation is paid for uses of the benefit after the campaign period. However, the benefit is not removed automatically from the restaurant’s page in the Cluby app; it remains available to customers until the restaurant deactivates it.
